پس از گذشت سال‌ها از مستند تحسین‌شده شعر با طعم بستنی، مبارز جوانمرد دوباره به همان جهان بازمی‌گردد؛ جهانی که در آن سادگیِ بستنی، استعاره‌ای از زندگی، عشق، و طعمِ تلخ‌وشیرینِ مهاجرت است.
در این پروژه‌ی تازه، نگاه فیلمساز پخته‌تر و بی‌پرده‌تر شده. او در میانه‌ی شهر ونکوور، میان برج‌ها، دریا، و تنهایی، دنبال همان لحظه‌ی ناب انسانی می‌گردد که طعم شعر دارد — و بوی کودکی.
